YJA Chairman June Hamilton has just completed negotiations with a new sponsor to revive our Cowes Week dinner party, following the gap left by Skandia's departure as Cowes Week's main sponsor.
The party will be held at the Prospect as usual, (83 The High Street, Cowes - home of the Sir Max Aitken Museum and former sailing home of Sir Max in years gone by), on the evening of Wednesday, August 4.
The new sponsor of the YJA party is Artemis, already a main sponsor on the Cowes Week scene, and full details will follow in a day or two - meanwhile please do put the date in your diaries now, and note that this year, the party is moving from its usual first Saturday slot to the Wednesday.
We are very fortunate to have found a new sponsor for this party in the current economic climate so please can we have the fullest possible support and attendance and the best possible Cowes Week coverage, in order to show our appreciation for Artemis' generosity on all fronts.
