Sir Robin Knox-Johnston, the Raymarine/YJA Yachtsman of the Year is hosting a weekly sailing programme on local radio.
Sir Robin, who won the YJA's coveted trophy for the third time during the Collins Stewart London Boat Show is presenting the weekly series, H20 on Friday evenings on BBC Radio Solent
YOUNG SAILOR OF THE YEAR
The Raymarine Young Sailor of the Year is 12-year-old schoolboy, Laurence Greenough from Plymouth, who won the award at the Collins Stewart London Boat Show for his outstanding courage and fortitude in recovering from a serious sailing accident in which he lost a leg. Within two months of the accident he was out racing his Topper again, and went straight back to the top of his class in an unadapted boat.

ROB GETS OLYMPIC JOB
YJA member Rob Andrews has been appointed Sport Competition Manager for Sailing for the 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games.
He will be responsible for all planning, organisation and management for the Sailing events at the Games which will take place at Weymouth and Portland.
